About the game
Imagine the King has handed you a massive mission: build magnificent castles along the kingdom's borders to secure the throne's succession. In Castle Dice, you aren't just stacking stones; you'll be managing luck and strategy in a very dynamic way. The game moves at a brisk pace, starting with rolling the dice to see what fate has in store for your realm. But hold on, it's not all luck! After the roll, it's time to shine in the drafting phase: you pick the dice you want to collect precious resources. These resources are your fuel to hire workers and upgrade your castles. But don't get too comfortable, okay? While you're busy building your empire, barbarians are lurking in neighboring lands, ready to attack and steal your resources if you aren't paying attention. The game is a race against time and invaders, lasting only seven rounds. In the end, whoever has built the most imposing castle — in other words, whoever accumulated the most victory points — will be crowned the new heir to the throne. It's a light, fast-paced game, perfect for those who love seeing things happen without too much fluff, but with that tension of knowing a barbarian raid could change everything. If you enjoy dice games that blend luck with smart choices, this is the one for you!
