Prepare your ships and brace yourself, because the year is 793 AD and the world is about to discover what Viking terror truly means! In Lindisfarne, you take on the role of a Jarl—a clan chief—with a very clear mission: lead expeditions across Europe to plunder treasures and secure prestige for your people. But don't think it's just about arriving and grabbing; the sea is a treacherous place, and luck might not be on your side. If the gods don't help or if you fail to be strategic, you might find yourself arriving late to a territory already dominated by a rival, or even worse, at the completely wrong location!
The gameplay is fast-paced and addictive. The game unfolds over six expeditions. Each turn, you roll dice (the quantity depends on how many viking tokens you already have on the board) and decide where to place your warriors on the game boards. Here lies the core strategic dilemma: the more tokens you spread across the map to try and dominate a region, the fewer dice you will have to roll in the next round. It is a constant balance between aggressive expansion and resource management. At the end of each expedition, those leading a board or meeting specific requirements can secure destination or objective cards.
Throughout the six voyages, you will also attempt to reconstruct frescoes and complete specific missions. At the end of the count, the player who has accumulated the most prestige—through completed objectives, leadership in countries, and restored frescoes—will be the grand winner and earn a seat of honor in King Harald's council. It is a game of risk management, controlled luck, and intense territorial competition, perfect for those who enjoy historical themes with snappy gameplay!

How long does a game last?
Usually between 30 to 45 minutes; it's very snappy!
What is the complexity level?
It's a light-to-medium game, easy to learn but with strategic risk decisions.
Does it work well with 2 players?
Yes, but the territorial struggle gets more interesting with 3 or 4 players.
Is it very luck-dependent?
Dice rolling is central, but you can manage this by deciding how many tokens to place.
Do I need to know a lot about Vikings to play?
Not at all! The theme is just a backdrop for the territorial control mechanics.
