In Amyitis, you step into the shoes of a Babylonian noble tasked with becoming the most prestigious architect of antiquity by helping to build one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Inspired by the story of Queen Amytis, who longed for the verdant mountains of her homeland, the game invites you to immerse yourself in the endeavor of recreating this marvel to please her. To achieve this, you'll need to spend your resources and money wisely, managing the construction of gardens and a complex irrigation system. Furthermore, trading with ancient cities and hiring skilled craftsmen will be crucial to increase your status and prestige. Every action counts: recruiting a craftsman can grant you access to resources or allow the construction of temples and irrigation systems; moving the caravan can yield rare plants or court cards; and even passing your turn can secure extra income. Interaction is constant, and one player's decisions directly impact the others. Area control, such as over temples, and the construction of your palace can also yield valuable points. Prepare for a fierce competition where strategy and planning are the keys to glory and to becoming the king's favorite architect!
