About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dive into the world of ARDEVUR: The Game of Resources, a medium-heavy economic simulation game with a modern mining theme, where every move counts. Set in the 'Metal Age' of the 2020s, a period of unprecedented technological breakthroughs in AI and robotics, the race for critical materials has become a pursuit of supremacy, not just profit. Here, metals are the backbone of civilization, and you command a powerful mining corporation with asymmetric powers and unique strategies.
With Africa and Europe as the main stages, this competitive game for 2 to 4 players focuses on mining and supply chain operations, resource management, and economic expansion. The board transforms into a true corporate battleground, where you must explore new territories, extract and trade valuable resources, expand your capital, and invest in tactical assets to achieve 'Total Control.'
Inspired by the designer's real-world experience in the mining industry, ARDEVUR offers a tense and engaging gameplay experience with realistic market mechanics. You'll have to balance short-term gains with long-term investments, outmaneuvering rivals who can sabotage your infrastructure, hack your sensitive data, or hijack your valuable cargo. Effectively manage your resources, build your infrastructural presence, and sell minerals to the global market. Each turn, you'll go through Extraction, Strategy, Development, and Reward phases, aiming to build the most efficient mining supply chain and accumulate Supremacy Points to dominate the industry. Victory can come from ethical or less ethical practices – the choice is yours!
