About the game

What you do in a play session

In Around the World in 80 Dice, you take on the role of a modern-day adventurer inspired by Jules Verne's classic, attempting to circumnavigate the globe before time runs out. This roll-and-write game combines strategy and luck in a race against the clock, where every decision could mean the difference between success and failure. Each round, four dice are rolled to determine available means of transportation. The more dice you use, the faster you advance, but the more time you consume. Watch out for Inspector Fix of Scotland Yard, who's always on your tail and can delay your journey if you're not careful. Along the way, you'll encounter random events, meet allies, and face obstacles, all while managing resources to keep your trip moving. With push-your-luck mechanics and resource management, each game is a new adventure full of twists and turns.
