About the game
What you do in a play session
Picture yourself in The Heroes Return Tavern, a place renowned for its… well, legendary clientele. You, however, aren't exactly a hero. But oh, how you can spin a yarn! In Braggart, you and your pals are holding court, regaling the crowds with tales of daring deeds and fantastical adventures. The big question is: can you weave the best boast, the most believable, or at least the most hilarious one, even after a few too many drinks? Or will you be called out as the liar you truly are? In this game of cards, lies, and unfortunate fish, each round players play cards from their hand, each containing a piece of their story, combining them into a narrative that is, at the very least, compelling. Stories can be grand and awe-inspiring, or incredibly funny. But beware! Your opponents can accept your boast or, worse, accuse you of making it all up, downgrading your epic into something far less impressive (and usually much funnier!). Get ready to bluff, laugh, and maybe even believe your own lies!
