To acquire a ship card, which represents treasures, you need to have a stack of chips with the minimum value indicated on the card. The trick? On your turn, you can take one of your chips, or even an entire stack, and place it on top of another player's chip or stack, becoming the new owner of that entire pile of chips! The catch is that you can only use this stack to buy a ship on your next turn, and by then, someone else might have done the same to you, stealing your stack back.
