Forget the race tracks! In Camel Up: Off Season, the action shifts to trade. You command a caravan of four camels, each with a different carrying capacity (3, 4, 5, and 6 items). The goal is simple: load up on goods and sell them for the best possible price, but the path there is full of dilemmas. There are four types of products: carpets, vases, dates, and fruits. These appear in markets that offer special powers, but there's a catch: you must compete for priority via sealed-bid auctions. The winner picks the market first, but they pay for the privilege — and remember, money is your final score, so spend wisely!
Logistics are where the game shines and stresses you out. Each camel can only carry one type of good at a time. If you start loading carpets on your capacity-4 camel, you must keep placing carpets there until it's full. The risk? If you exceed the animal's load limit, you lose everything that camel was carrying. It's pure 'push your luck' gameplay.
When it's time to sell, each item has its own rule: dates pay more if sold in bulk; carpets require different colors to maximize profit; vases depend on specific shapes, and fruits have varying values, but you can only sell the lowest-valued fruit in the batch. It's a game of space management and timing. When the deck runs out, one final round occurs, and whoever has the most coins wins. It's light, fast, and perfect for those who love the Camel Up theme in a more strategic and compact format.

Do I need the original Camel Up to play?
No! This is a standalone game. While it shares the theme, the mechanics are completely different.
How long does a game last?
Usually between 45 and 60 minutes, and it's very dynamic.
Is it suitable for casual gamers?
Absolutely. It's an excellent gateway game with intuitive rules and appealing components.
What is the complexity level?
Low to Medium. The challenge lies more in space management and risk than in complex rules.
How many players can play?
3 to 5 players, and it works well at any of those counts.
