In Circus Flohcati, you step into the shoes of a flea trainer, aiming to put on the most impressive show in the circus! The game is a fun race to collect the best acts, represented by cards of different colors and values (from 0 to 7 points). Each turn, the decision is yours: take one of the cards already face-up on the table or try your luck by flipping a new card from the deck. But be careful, this choice can be tricky! If you flip an action card, you must perform it immediately – and yes, some of them might mean stealing a valuable card from an opponent, which always adds drama to the table. Even worse, if the newly revealed card is the same color as any already face-up, you lose your turn and get nothing. It’s the classic 'push your luck' in action! If you manage to gather three cards of the same value in hand, you can play them to guarantee 10 points. The game ends when someone collects an act of each of the ten different colors, or when the deck runs out. Final scoring is clever: you only count the highest-valued act of each color. So, think carefully before taking duplicate cards or plan to use them to form trios. And if you're the flea master and have all ten different acts in hand, you get a 10-point 'gala show' bonus. Whoever has the highest score takes the title of the greatest flea trainer around!
