Get your finest china ready, because the party is about to start! In Capybara Cookie Club, you play as a super hospitable capybara hosting a fancy tea party for the South American fauna crew. But don't let the tea and gossip fool you: there's a hidden competitive edge here. The real goal? Be the smartest capybara at the table and end the party with the most biscuits tucked away in your paws!
The gameplay is addictive and incredibly smooth. The game revolves around two growing piles of cards. The golden rule is simple: to play a card, its value must be exactly one number higher than the card currently on top (or you can reset the count if you hit 5). If the piles are tied, you have more freedom to play, except for the number 7, which is strictly forbidden!
Each animal brings a special ability that can shift your strategy. You might pass cards to your neighbor with the tapir, swap cards with the turtle, grab an extra turn with the armadillo, or even snatch biscuits from an opponent using the anteater. If you manage to empty your hand first, you snag a biscuit bonus from the draw pile. However, the real tension happens during scoring: at the end of each round, you look at the cards remaining in your hand and pick the highest-valued ones for each animal type to convert into biscuit tokens. It's a constant balancing act between rushing to empty your hand for the round bonus and holding onto high-value cards for the final score. If someone runs out of biscuits, the party is over, and the one with the most treats wins. It's fast, it's adorable, and it's surprisingly strategic!
