About the game
What you do in a play session
Fire up the engines and adjust the valves! In Celestia Duo, you and your partner take control of an aircraft in a frantic chase through the skies. The goal is simple, but the execution is tense: pirates are plundering floating cities, and you must catch them before they vanish over the horizon. But don't expect a smooth ride. The path is riddled with ambushes and hazards that require total coordination between the pair.
The real twist here is the limited communication. You can't simply plan every single move; instead, you'll need synergy and deduction. The gameplay revolves around managing cards and anticipating what your partner is holding. If one of you cannot counter a die result on your turn, the aircraft takes damage. It's the kind of game where a look or a gesture is worth a thousand words (which you probably aren't allowed to say!).
To survive, you'll need to make strategic decisions: is it worth stopping at a floating city to refuel and recruit passengers with special skills, or will that give the pirate leader the lead they need to escape? It's a constant balance between risk and reward. To top it all off, the game includes two 3D aircraft to assemble, adding an amazing visual touch to the table. If you enjoy cooperative games where tension builds with every round and cooperation is tested to the limit, Celestia Duo is the perfect bet for your next game night for two.
