About the game
What you do in a play session
Celles: The Ardennes, December 23-27, 1944 is a wargame simulating the fighting at the peak of the German Ardennes offensive, known as the Battle of the Bulge. The Germans push toward the Meuse River, desperate for fuel and time to achieve Hitler's goals, while the Allies try to block their advance and launch a counteroffensive. The game uses a random activation system by formations, creating uncertainty and excitement—not all units act every turn, and some may act multiple times, reflecting resource shortages, aggressive leadership, and piecemeal reinforcements. Unit movement reduces their strength, simulating fatigue and lack of defensive preparation. With a scale of 12 hours per turn and hexes representing 1 mile, it's a game for those who love counterattacks and historical strategy. Includes a color map, unit counters, and a 12-page rulebook. Medium complexity and high solitaire playability.
