About the game
In ancient times the land of Bangar was overrun by hordes of rampaging chickens, led by cunning and ruthless poultry generals. In Chickens of Bangar each player commands one of these feathered armies, battling for vital resources – land, water and feed – across a hex‑based map dotted with strategic territories. The hexagonal board allows movement in six directions, opening up tactical maneuvers and surprising encirclements. Each army fields three unit types: chicken cavalry, infantry, and spear‑chickens, each with its own movement cost and special abilities.

The core of the game is dice rolling: when you attack or defend you roll dice that determine success, injecting a dose of luck that can flip the outcome in an instant. The blend of hex positioning and dice randomness creates quick (about 20‑minute) yet tense matches where every decision can swing the battle. The goal is straightforward – capture and hold the majority of key territories before time runs out or rival generals wipe out your forces.

With colorful components, detailed chicken miniatures, and a set of thematic dice, the game offers a fun visual experience without sacrificing strategic depth. Designed for 2‑4 players, Chickens of Bangar mixes humor and tactics, making it perfect for fans of light wargames that still demand planning and constant adaptation to the chaos of war‑faring fowls.
