About the game

What you do in a play session

Prepare for a spine-chilling night at Black Morn Manor! In this board game with a touch of horror and adventure, players split into two teams: the Envoys and the Minion. The Envoys' goal is to uncover the identity of the dreaded Master haunting the manor, find the item that makes him vulnerable, and finally put an end to his reign of terror. To achieve this, they'll explore the manor, placing tiles to build the setting and moving across a square grid, always relying on dice rolls for luck and adapting to unexpected events that arise.

Meanwhile, one player takes on the role of the Minion, whose objective is to thwart the Envoys. They must find an influence item and remove it from play, ensuring the Master remains in control. The board setup changes with each game, and collaboration (or lack thereof!) among the Envoys is crucial for success. With a playtime of around 2 hours, Black Morn Manor offers a tense and immersive experience, perfect for those who enjoy haunted house themes and a good dose of mystery. It's a game that harks back to the golden age of RPGs but adapted for a more direct board game experience, focusing on investigation and suspense.
