For those dreaming of founding new cities, it will be necessary to build schooners and airships to reach distant lands and floating islands. Be careful, as your cities have limited capacity, requiring difficult choices about what to keep and what to demolish when building more advanced structures. This second edition brings significant improvements over the first, with rebalancing and new iconography for expert cards, the removal of the expansion town card deck, a simplification of the turn order auction (and the elimination of the pay track for going later), the replacement of pirates with a bonus coin, and a change in the timing of scoring rounds. Furthermore, end-game scoring goals are now personalized, depending on each player's contract cards and regions, adding an extra layer of strategy and replayability.
