Hey board game enthusiasts! If you love the vibe of 7 Wonders but crave a solid head-to-head duel, 7 Wonders Duel is the perfect fit. It takes the core essence of the original game – developing your civilization over three ages, collecting resources, advancing in science or military power, and constructing Wonders – and refines it for an exclusive two-player experience. Forget simultaneous card drafting; here, the dynamic is different. Cards are revealed in a special layout each round, with some face-up and others face-down. The trick is that you can only take a card if it's not covered by others, which adds a strategic layer of timing and planning. There are even bonuses that allow you to take a second card immediately, which can change everything! Just like in classic 7 Wonders, each card you acquire can be used to build a structure, discarded for coins, or to erect one of your Wonders. Each player starts with four Wonder cards, and each one grants you a unique ability. But beware: only seven Wonders can be built in total, so one of you will end up with an extra. Resources can be purchased from the bank at any time, or you can earn cards that provide you with a constant supply. And here's a cool detail: as you acquire resources, the cost for your opponent to buy those same resources increases, showing who dominates that area! Victory in 7 Wonders Duel can come in three ways: military domination (advance your marker to your opponent's capital), scientific supremacy (collect six different scientific symbols), or, if neither of these instant victories occurs, whoever has the most points at the end of the third age wins. It's a game that keeps you engaged from start to finish, with important decisions every turn!
