Get your cauldrons ready, because the Solstice is approaching! In Coven, you step into the shoes of a powerful witch vying for dominance by seeking the favor of five mysterious goddesses. But there's a catch: alignment is everything, and almost nothing is what it seems. Are you serving the Light or the Darkness? Even more tricky, the-goddesses themselves hold secret alignments that can shift the tides of power.
The gameplay is a tense dance of deduction, negotiation, and tactical maneuvering. You'll need to gather intel, form fragile alliances, and cast hexes to stay ahead. The board itself is a centerpiece, featuring a rotating pentagram-themed-disk that constantly alters your strategic options, ensuring no two-turns feel the same.
Victory requires a masterclass in balance. While your faction (Light or Dark) needs to score enough points to defeat the opposing side, winning the game isn't just about your team's success. If your side dominates, only the witch with the highest individual power claims the crown. This creates a fascinating tension: do you help your allies to ensure your side wins, or do you play selfishly to ensure you are the most powerful-amongst-the-victors? With beautiful miniatures and a deep-seated-suspicion-driven-atmosphere, Coven is a high-stakes-social-deduction-meets-strategy experience that will keep your players questioning everything.
