About the game
Picture the scene: June 6th, 1944, the beaches of Normandy are in total chaos, and you and your comrades are under heavy fire from a German bunker. The atmosphere is tense, the pressure is mounting, and the only way out is forward. In D-Day Dice, you aren't just a soldier, but the leader of an improvised unit that needs courage and strategy to survive the massacre and annihilate the enemy machine gun nest.

Moving away from the heavy, traditional wargame style, this is a cooperative experience where coordination is everything. You start with almost nothing—just a few soldiers and a lot of determination. From there, the gameplay revolves around rolling dice to collect essential resources, such as specialists and items, while attempting to advance sector by sector across the sand. The core challenge is risk management: do you push forward now with what you have, or do you try to gather more resources, risking the loss of precious men?

One of the coolest features is the simultaneous action selection. No one is sitting around waiting for their turn; everyone decides their move at the same time, which keeps the adrenaline pumping and simulates the urgency of the battlefield. If you enjoy the tension of 'push your luck' mechanics and like planning future steps while dealing with the randomness of dice, this game is for you. Additionally, if you don't have a group, the solitaire rules allow you to take command of the operation on your own. It's a game of survival, resource management, and, above all, teamwork. Will you break through the German defenses, or will you become just another statistic of the war?
