About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a duel of wits and magic in Dark Pact! In this deck-building game, the goal is to be the first to fulfill one of thirteen Dark Pacts. Each pact has its own unique win condition, so pay close attention! Starting with a basic deck of ten cards (actions, treasures, and multipliers), you'll play cards each turn to activate effects, draw new cards, and perhaps even attack your opponents. Played cards go into your play area, and some might even stay there, like certain Dark Pacts. To buy new cards, you'll use treasures to generate coins and can acquire them from the general supply or your personal grimoire, which can be expanded. Want to boost your cards? Use the x2 and x3 multipliers to supercharge the coins, actions, or whatever else the card offers! If the deck runs out before anyone wins, victory goes to the player with the highest sum of Insight minus Curses. And for those who enjoy playing solo, Dark Pact also offers a challenging single-player mode against a bot. It's a game with significant player interaction that requires planning to build the ideal deck and achieve victory before your rivals.
