About the game

What you do in a play session

Grab your staff and hold your breath, because things just got messy at the Aether Spire! In Darkness Incoming, you step into the shoes of a wizard's apprentice who was left behind while everyone else fled. Your mission? Save the Spire of Aether — the Guild's most ambitious project yet — from a horde of shadowy creatures that couldn't care less about magical architecture and just want to see it crumble. It is a race against time and absolute chaos. To succeed, you'll need to manage your minions, who serve as your primary line of defense. Each one possesses unique abilities that could be the difference between victory and total annihilation. But don't be fooled: the enemy has the Overseers leading constant waves of nightmare-inducing monsters. They arrive in overwhelming numbers and simply won't stop coming! To hold the line, you'll have to tap into your full arsenal: powerful spells, minion upgrades, magical scrolls, and even a time-bending ritual that could alter the very fate of the battle. It is an intense survival experience where you must defeat the Overseers before the tide of darkness engulfs everything you've worked for. If you enjoy feeling like a master of the arcane arts trying to contain the impossible, this is the game for you. Just be careful: if you slip up, the darkness will show no mercy.
