About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to step into the shoes of your favorite DC Comics heroes in DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth! This version brings an electrifying new feature: movement! Now, you and your team (or just you!) can move around a 10-space board, either to buy the cards you need to power up your deck or to intercept villains before they cause major chaos. Accompanied by iconic standees like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Aquaman, the action becomes even more immersive.
The game offers total flexibility: tackle the adventure in competitive mode, where defeating villains earns victory points and they end up as trophies under your hero card (you can even bribe opponents with them!), or join forces in cooperative mode. The icing on the cake is the Cooperative Campaign, featuring 8 individually packaged scenarios, offering a legacy-style experience with character progression and record-keeping, but without permanently altering the game. That means guaranteed replayability! And yes, there's a solo mode for those who enjoy saving the day alone. It's a card game where you build your deck, acquire items, and face threats, all wrapped in the classic comic book theme we love.

How long does a game session take?
Generally, a game lasts between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on the mode and the number of players.
Is the game difficult to learn?
The complexity is considered medium (2.7/5 on BGG), meaning it's not super simple, but it's not overwhelmingly complex either. Deck-building is the core mechanic.
Do I need to be able to read English to play?
Yes, the game has a high language dependency. It's recommended to have a full translation or someone who can assist with the cards.
