About the game
Deep in the ocean, where hydrothermal vents spew superheated water and minerals, a bizarre food chain thrives. In Deep Vents, you control a unique ecosystem teeming with exotic creatures surviving in this harsh environment. Each turn, you choose between expanding your colony or attacking rivals, using archaea (the game's currency) to trigger special abilities. But beware: those who don't adapt well might get eliminated before the end! The game blends spatial strategy (with hexagonal tiles), resource management, and a dash of 'take that' mechanics. In the end, the winner is whoever balances growth, defense, and precise attacks best. Get ready for a wild battle in the depths!

Is it hard to learn?
Moderate learning curve - rules aren't complex, but strategies take some time to master.

Each player builds their own ecosystem, so prepare a reasonable play area for everyone.
Is there much card text?
Almost none - just some icons that become easy to remember after one play.
Is it good for casual players?
Depends on the group! Those who enjoy interactive games might like it, but the medium-heavy weight could scare newcomers.
