About the game

What you do in a play session

In Domaine, anarchy has gripped the kingdom, and the dukes are seizing the opportunity to expand their domains and increase their influence before the king's return. The game plunges you into this medieval struggle for territory, where you'll use walls to enclose areas on the modular board. Completed domains can then be expanded, and your ambition might even lead you to invade your opponents' spaces! To defend your gains, you can position knights, which act as a shield against invasions. Actions are driven by the strategic use of cards, each with its associated cost. Earning money is crucial, whether by selling cards to other players (who can then acquire them back) or by controlling mines. Points are tallied based on the quantity and type of terrain enclosed within your domains, as well as for controlling groups of mines. Victory goes to the player who first reaches a specific point threshold or the player with the most points when the card deck runs out. It's a game that demands planning and good hand management to ensure your walls and knights are always in the right place at the right time. Get ready to draw new borders and prove who rules the land!
