About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to set sail in search of treasures with Dominion: Plunder, the 15th expansion to the series that loves making us manage cards as if they were our own kingdom! This time, we're after shinier, better quality stuff than what we have at home, because, let's face it, who doesn't want a cool diadem or a sparkling tiara?
Gather your crew – some old sea dogs, a sourpuss, and even a rather dull goldfish (maybe it'll bring luck?) – and head into the unknown. The sea is unforgiving, but at least the food is salty and, they say, there's something called 'Sailor's Delight' that contains tuna. If you enjoy a little extra spice in life (and food), you'll do well. The goal is simple: attack merchant ships, loot their treasures, and perhaps collect some unforgettable pirate memories. This expansion introduces 40 new Kingdom cards, many focusing on Treasures and Duration cards, along with Loot and Traits that add a special touch to the piles. And yes, Events are back to shake things up even more!
Dominion: Plunder is an expansion that adds a maritime and looting flavor to the classic Dominion experience. With a focus on collecting treasures and efficiently managing your resources, it fits perfectly with the mechanics fans already love, adding new strategic layers without overcomplicating things. It's the right choice for those who want more variety and a fun theme for their deck-building sessions.
