How to Play Domino Dungeon

Game Objective

In Domino Dungeon, players take on the roles of the Miscreants, a group of chaotic adventurers who explore dangerous dungeons in search of riches. The goal is to collect as many coins as possible, facing challenges, monsters, and even hindering other players. The winner is the player who exits the dungeon with the most coins after defeating the Boss.

Setup

To set up the game, follow the steps below:

• Each player chooses a Miscreant and takes their token, miniature, and coin marker.
• Place the dungeon card with the stairs in the center of the table and position the Miscreants' miniatures on it.
• Set aside the Boss Room and shuffle the other 28 dungeon cards, dealing 7 to each player.
• Shuffle the Treasure, Prayer, and Magic cards, forming three face-down piles.
• Choose a dungeon and set aside the corresponding token and monster and boss markers.
• Place dice, wound markers, and the chest within reach of all players.

Game Flow

The game is divided into player rounds and monster rounds:

• In the player round, each player can make a move and spend 2 Action Points to perform actions such as solving puzzles, avoiding traps, kicking doors, attacking monsters, or opening chests.
• In the monster round, monsters move toward the nearest Miscreants and attack them if possible.
• After the Boss enters, players begin the Dungeon Escape, where they can attack the Boss, loot other players, and try to exit through the stairs.

Actions and How to Play

During your turn, you can perform the following actions:

• Take a test: Roll dice to solve puzzles or avoid traps, using Strength, Dexterity, or Intellect attributes.
• Kick a door: Connect a new dungeon card to the chosen door, expanding the path.
• Attack a monster: Use your attributes and equipment to deal damage to monsters.
• Use a portal: Teleport to another portal or to the Boss Room.
• Open a chest: Draw a treasure card and equip it or store it in your bag.
• Equip or replace a treasure: Swap an equipped item with another from your bag.
• Use power/ability: Activate special abilities or magical powers.

End of Game and Scoring

The game ends when:

• The player who defeated the Boss exits the dungeon; or
• All players are defeated or out of the dungeon.

To calculate the score, convert all treasure, magic, and prayer cards into coins. The undefeated player with the highest total of coins wins.

• Prioritize collecting treasures and using portals to explore the dungeon efficiently.
• Stay alert to monster movements during their round to avoid surprise attacks.
• Use your special abilities and magical powers strategically to overcome challenges and defeat the Boss.
