To achieve this, you'll play 'Trait' cards that make your Doomling species more adaptable, resilient, and, of course, mischievous. Each card played not only adds to your score but can come with special abilities that create powerful combos and open paths to victory. But beware! The planet won't stand still. 'Age' cards introduce changing rules each round, and hidden among them are 'Catastrophes,' devastating events that force everyone to rethink their strategies and adapt quickly. The game introduces a cool mechanic called 'Gene Pool,' which acts as your hand size. Your Gene Pool is unique and can increase or decrease depending on the Traits you play or the Catastrophes that hit the planet. Managing this Gene Pool is crucial for having more Trait options each turn. Doomlings is a light and fast-paced game, perfect for 2 to 6 players, playable in a casual or more competitive setting. With over 100 unique and powerful Traits, and the randomness of the Ages, each game is a new evolutionary adventure.
