About the game
Get ready for an epic and gloomy duel! In Dracula vs Van Helsing, you enter a direct clash between the master of vampires and history's most famous hunter. The setting is the town of Whitby, England, where Dracula attempts to reclaim his dominion while Van Helsing fights to stop him. The game is an asymmetric duel for two players, with each side having a very clear objective to achieve victory.

If you're controlling Dracula, your mission is domination: you win if you can turn all four inhabitants of a single district into vampires. As Van Helsing, your goal is annihilation: you must reduce Dracula's health points to zero to end the threat. The match is fast-paced, lasting a maximum of five rounds, which keeps the tension high throughout.

The heart of the game lies in managing your five-card rack. Each turn, you draw a card and face a crucial choice: discard it to activate its ability or swap it with a card already in your rack, discarding the old one to trigger the effect. There are eight types of cards, each with different powers that can turn the tide of battle. Strategy isn't just about what you play, but when you decide to end the round. If there are six or more cards in the discard pile, you can force the round to end, giving your opponent only one last turn before the final showdown.

At the end of each round, the moment of truth arrives: players compare the cards in their racks for each of the five districts. Whoever has the higher value dominates the area. If it's Dracula, a human becomes a vampire; if it's Van Helsing, Dracula loses health. It's a game of bluffing, calculation, and hand management, where every card swap could be the difference between victory and eternal defeat.
