About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your glitter and lipstick ready, because the backstage chaos has officially begun! In Drag Slay, there is absolutely no time for overthinking—if you stop to plan too much, someone else will swoop in and steal your spotlight. The setting is AURA, the city's newest and most iconic venue, and the goal is simple yet frantic: be the first Queen or King to shine on stage with an impeccable look.
Forget everything you know about waiting for your turn. Here, everyone plays simultaneously! While you are desperately trying to assemble the perfect outfit, every other player is also racing toward the central item piles. The dynamic is pure adrenaline: you can grab an item from one pile and, in the same instant, return another to a different pile to try and complete your set. It is a race against both the clock and your friends to gather the three specific items required to complete a Drag card.
But it's not just a mindless sprint; there's survival strategy involved too! You'll need to manage your hand of cards with lightning speed and, if things get tight, use negotiation to snag exactly what you need. When you finally nail the look and shout the iconic “SLAY!”, the game throws a curveball: all players must flip their item cards to the opposite side, resetting progress and cranking up the chaos. The game ends immediately when someone completes five Drags from different families or three Drags from the same family. It is fast, loud, and absolutely fabulous. If you love games that spike your heart rate and bring a heavy dose of pop culture and diversity to the table, Drag Slay is your next obsession!
