About the game

What you do in a play session

In Emerge, you and your friends are scientists studying newly emerged islands in the ocean. The game is a mix of strategy and luck, where you roll dice to collect research and discover new species. The islands literally grow on the board, gaining height and life as you explore their ecosystems. Each player starts with the same research board but can customize it throughout the game, focusing on different areas of study. After eight rounds, the player with the most biodiverse and prosperous islands, plus specific research objectives, wins. The visuals are stunning, with colorful pieces representing plants and animals, and the dice rerolling mechanic gives that addictive 'let me try again' feeling.
