About the game
Put on your helmet and hit the gas, because Formula 5 puts you in control of a frantic race where card strategy decides who crosses the finish line first! The game begins with the setup of starting positions: five cars are randomly placed on the table, creating five columns. Each player takes control of one of these cars and receives 12 race cards to manage their strategy. The dynamics are simple yet tense: the turn order follows the current position of the cars on the track. The leader plays first, followed by the second, and so on.

The heart of the game lies in color and sequence management. To advance, you play a race card in your column. Your 'speed' is calculated by the number of cards of the same color as the last card played in that specific column. If your speed is higher than that of the car immediately in front of you, you overtake them and take the higher position! But be careful: the track is treacherous, and you'll need perfect timing to climb the podium.

It's not all about full throttle, though. Sometimes, you'll need a Pit Stop. By playing a pit stop card (or any card face down), you reset your speed to zero for the turn, but you gain the chance to discard bad cards from your hand and draw new ones from the deck. It's that strategic 'breather' to build the perfect hand for the final stretch. The race ends as soon as the cards in the players' hands run out, and the player in the best position wins the race. It's a fast, light game, perfect for those who want the thrill of a Grand Prix without needing a hundred-page rulebook.
