Fzzzt! puts you in the shoes of a mechanic trying to snap up the most valuable robots rolling off a slightly deranged factory conveyor, run by the Master Central Processing Unit version D (aka McPUD). McPUD is suffering from software bugs, so production speed and robot types fluctuate each game, keeping the surprise factor high. The game consists of five auction rounds; each round features eight robot cards auctioned one by one, and you must decide how much energy (represented on the cards in your hand) you’re willing to spend to win the highest bid. Since bids are sealed, no one sees what the other is offering until the reveal, creating plenty of tension. As the game progresses, the robots you’ve bought join your pool and can be used to fund later bids or to fulfill Production Units – special cards that grant bonus points when you turn in sets of robots with matching symbols. After the fifth round, Production Unit points are added to your total, and the mechanic with the highest score wins. The game blends sealed‑bid auction, deck/pool building, and set collection, all wrapped in a colorful deck that feels like a futuristic lab. It’s a quick 30‑minute experience, light on weight (1.7/5), and supports 2‑4 players, making it perfect for fans of fast decisions, a dash of bluff, and a goofy robot theme. While some mechanics feel a bit rough around the edges, the overall vibe is fun and full of laughs, especially when McPUD decides to speed up the conveyor and everything goes haywire.
