About the game
You know that massive, high-end refrigerator that looks like an endless buffet? Well, Get The Cheese! puts you and your friends right in the middle of that delicious chaos! The setup is simple: the family has finally left the house, the kitchen is unguarded, and every mouse in the neighborhood has caught the scent of the feast. Your mission is clear: rush to the table, grab as much cheese as you can, and try not to become a cat's snack in the process! It is a frantic race where time is of the essence and competition is fierce. Each player controls a group of animals of a specific color and must manage their cards to dominate the table. The gameplay follows a very dynamic cycle: on your turn, you can either draw three new cards or start placing your animal cards around the cheese circle. Strategy lies in how you position your creatures. Will you use a dog to chase the cats away? Or will you focus on fast mice to reach the cheese first? The resolution order dictates the flow: first the dogs jump in, then the cats, followed by the king mice, and finally the common mice. Everything happens fast, with games lasting barely 15 minutes, making it perfect as a filler between bigger games or for a last-minute social gathering. If you enjoy quick card games with cute themes but surprisingly cutthroat competition, get your paws ready and good luck hunting for that cheese!
