About the game
What you do in a play session
Grimcoven plunges you into a dark and gothic Victorian universe where only the hunt truly matters. You and your crew (or go solo if that's your jam!) step into the shoes of hunters fueled by a strange power called 'lament,' bound by a pact to face modular bosses in epic battles. Each hunter boasts a unique development tree, allowing you to craft insane combos: teleport across the map, gather lament to grow stronger, gain extra dice, and unleash devastating attacks. Sometimes, a special electricity die will power up your armor, while other times you'll forge magical bullets for that perfect shot. The beauty of Grimcoven lies in its replayability; each game is a fresh adventure. You choose the arena, the boss, the elites, and the challenges. Forget lengthy, scripted campaigns; here, the focus is diving straight into an intense 2-3 hour boss battle. Each boss presents a distinct tactical puzzle, demanding teamwork and clever use of the arena and its resources. Dice allocation is key for movement, activating combos, and collecting lament. Build your character in a roguelike fashion, aiming for ultimate victory. But beware: accumulating too much lament might transform you into the very beast you were sent to hunt, leaving your fellow hunters unable to help!
