Hey everyone! Ready for a trip through time where technology advances rapidly, but so does destruction? In Guns & Steel, you'll lead a civilization and must decide whether to invest in development to boost production or build a formidable army to crush the competition. This game, using just 50 cards, features a brilliant hand-building mechanic with multi-use cards. Each card can be played face-down as a resource, fueling your economy, or face-up to activate powerful effects that accelerate your progress. But beware, your neighbor might send some unwanted 'souvenirs' your way! With a medium weight and games lasting about an hour, Guns & Steel forces you to make tough decisions every turn. Will you build wonders that leave an eternal legacy or focus on conquering everything by force? Each age, you'll buy new cards, manage your hand, and strive to build the greatest empire in the world. The game ends when all wonders are claimed or the Space Age cards run out. The player with the most victory points claims glory! It's a compact strategy game, yet packed with depth, perfect for those who enjoy thinking and watching their civilization evolve (or collapse!).
