Historia puts you and up to five friends (or a solo player with AI bots) in charge of a civilization that spans 12,000 years, from humanity's first spark to the Singularity era. Each game takes about 25 minutes per player, so the total length ranges from two to two‑and‑a‑half hours depending on the group size. The core of the game is the action cards: you draw, play, and then discard them into a queue that returns the cards to your hand after a few turns, letting you plan ahead. As you progress, your civilization discovers technologies, expands across the globe, trades with more advanced neighbours, and builds a military for wars and raids that resolve smoothly without breaking the flow. Building wonders also matters, granting victory points and attracting tourists and new settlers who follow your leaders and national advisors. When the modern era or the Singularity is reached, the game ends and the player with the most VPs wins. The game blends hand management, simultaneous action selection, area majority/influence, and action retrieval, delivering a strategic experience that rewards long‑term planning without feeling heavy.
