Hey everyone! Ready for a real fight for the throne? In "Inheritors", the king has died, leaving a power vacuum in the Five Realms. It's up to you, one of the heirs, to prove you're the most worthy to take command. This is a fast-paced, strategic card game for 2-4 players, where you'll need to use cunning and wit to win the favor of the noble clans and, of course, outmaneuver your rivals.
Each round, you navigate an open market of cards, deciding whether to play them into your area to build a powerful tableau, discard them to draw more options, or take entire stacks to boost your hand. The secret lies in building valuable color sequences, activating special clan abilities, completing challenging quests, and, most importantly, securing the "Honors" before other heirs get their hands on them.
The game ends when the draw deck is nearly depleted or the last honors and quests are claimed. Then, the court will pass judgment: who has accumulated the most prestige through their tableau (cards in ascending order), the Honors they've collected, and the Quests they've completed? Only one can be the new king. It's a game with good interaction, where hand management and choosing the right cards at the right time make all the difference. Perfect for those who enjoy a cool theme and games that don't drag on.
