What you do in a play session

Hey folks! Ready for a trip back in time with Jurassic Hunt? This roll-and-write game puts you in charge of a tribe of cavemen on a super dangerous mission: hunting dinosaurs! Each turn, you'll use a pool of dice to recruit your team of hunters, each with their own special skills. Need someone to track the beast? Or maybe a mace master to land the final blow? There's a role for everyone!

The catch is, it's not just about rolling dice and rushing into battle. Each dinosaur requires a specific combination of warriors to take down. And here's the kicker: after each successful hunt, you permanently lose one of your brave hunters! That's right, you have to plan carefully to avoid running out of troops too soon. To give you a helping hand, you can set traps using dice with specific values, making it easier to catch your prey.

The game lasts for 7 turns, and at the end, whoever has accumulated the most points from successful hunts is the champion. It's a game that kind of reminds you of worker-placement, you know? You have to think long-term and manage your resources (your cavemen!) well. Perfect for those who enjoy a strategic challenge with the thrill of dice and a prehistoric theme.
