About the game
What you do in a play session
If you think war is just about pressing a button, Kharkov 1943 is here to give you a reality check. As the 4th volume in the 'Storms in the East' series, this game dives deep into the chaos of the 1942-43 winter. On one side, the Soviets, riding the high of their successes in Stalingrad, are launching massive offensives to encircle German troops. On the other, the German army is desperately trying to hold the line and prevent a total collapse. The stakes are high: the vital logistics hub of Kharkov is under threat. You'll be managing infantry divisions and armored corps to decide the fate of the region. The game features three distinct scenarios: the opening of Operation Galop, Manstein's counter-offensive, or a full campaign spanning from February to March 1943. This is pure strategic warfare, where every unit movement and dice roll can shift the course of history on the Eastern Front. If you're a fan of classic wargames featuring hex grids and detailed combat mechanics, get your map ready—the battle for Ukraine is about to begin!
