About the game
Prepare for a strategic adventure in Kitara, where you'll expand your empire across ancient lands, blending conquest, movement, and epic battles! The goal is straightforward: dominate the map! To achieve this, you need to manage your cards wisely, as the more territories you control, the more tactical options become available. Assemble a powerful army of agile hunters, swift cheetah-centaurs, and legendary heroes to defend your lands, protect your livestock and crops, and march to war against rivals.

Kitara is a dynamic game that captivates from start to finish, with constant tension keeping you on the edge of your seat. Each round, you'll participate in a kingdom card draft, recruit new troops (represented by cool meeples, including some awesome animal and monster ones!), move your units across the board, and attack neighboring areas. Conquering an enemy territory rewards you with valuable hero tokens, which are worth victory points. The attack and defense mechanics are based on the number of units involved, making each confrontation decisive. In the end, whoever accumulates the most victory points is crowned the great emperor of Kitara!

With a blend of area control, tactical movement, and hand management, Kitara offers an engaging strategic experience for those who enjoy games with a touch of fantasy and a strong theme. It's a great choice for anyone seeking a game with good replayability that rewards smart planning. Check out the awards it has already won; they show this game is the real deal!
