About the game

What you do in a play session

Picture this: you and your friends are the last heroes standing after a daring heist. You've managed to steal the relics of the Baleful Queen, leaving the immortal sovereign weakened and absolutely furious. Now, her sole purpose is to recover them, and the only thing standing between her and the total destruction of the world is the Bastion of the Ancient Kings. The catch? You're trapped inside this fortress while endless hordes of monsters and bloodthirsty warlords besiege the ramparts.

Last Bastion is a tense cooperative game where unity isn't just important—it's the only way to survive. You take on the roles of heroes with distinct abilities and must coordinate every move on the modular board to prevent the citadel from falling. If the walls are breached, it's not just a group defeat, but the collapse of an entire civilization. The dynamic is simple yet cruel: either everyone wins together, or everyone falls together.

The game utilizes a dice-rolling system with icons, which removes the feeling of 'pure luck' and puts strategic resolution in the spotlight. With grid movement and the constant pressure of emerging enemies, every turn is a critical decision. Do you push forward to block a path or stay back to protect a wounded ally? The tension escalates every round, turning the match into a true battle of endurance. If you love the 'Tower Defense' vibe and want to feel the adrenaline of defending humanity's last refuge against chaos, this is the game for you.
