About the game

What you do in a play session

If you enjoy that dark and absurd humor found in German comic strips, get ready for the chaos of Lemming Mafia! Based on the 'Nichtlustig' universe, this game puts you in charge of a gang of lemmings who, being lemmings, have decided the best life plan is to race toward a cliff. But don't be fooled; it's not just a desperate race; it's a betting competition where the goal is to be the first to jump into the lake!

The gameplay is super dynamic and fast-paced. Each player controls a group of six lemmings (represented by cards) and must move them across the board using the luck of the dice. On each turn, you roll two dice and choose which of your lemmings will advance one section on the track. The board is full of surprises: you might encounter spaces that give 'concrete shoes' (terrible for speed, but great for style!), spaces that knock a lemming out of the race, or even spaces that allow you to place new bets.

The real spice here is the betting system. While the lemmings are racing, you can place face-down bet cards, trying to predict who the big winner will be. At the end, when the first lemming reaches the destination, everyone reveals their bets to see who correctly predicted the winner and who lost out. Additionally, there are mission cards that can grant extra points if completed, or penalize you if you fail. It's a game of luck, light strategy, and plenty of laughs thanks to its cartoonish visual style. It's perfect for a quick 20-minute session to warm up or for a casual hangout with friends!
