What you do in a play session

Lions of Lydia takes you back to ancient times, where the kingdom of Lydia is about to revolutionize the world with the invention of the first gold coin. In this bag-management and engine-building game, you play as an influential leader who must hire merchants, trade resources, and expand your lands. Common merchants are essential for gathering basic resources, but it’s the Lydian nobles and their Lion coins that hold the real purchasing power. The challenge lies in balancing your merchants in the bag and using their unique abilities to convert resources into coins and acquire the most valuable properties. With worker placement mechanics and different types of merchants, every decision can lead you to victory or defeat. When enough properties are developed, the game ends, and the winner is declared. Will you be the one to master the new golden era?
