Get ready to fight for influence in the streets of Marrakech! In Marrakesh, you lead one of the city's most powerful families with a single goal: earn the most honorable titles and become the legendary 'Obermufti'. To achieve this, you'll need to manage your assistants and resources with surgical precision, balancing immediate actions with long-term investments.
The game dynamics are split into three rounds, each consisting of four turns. The heart of the experience lies in simultaneous selection: behind your screen, you secretly choose colored cylinders. These cylinders determine where your assistants are allocated, defining which actions you can perform. But here comes the twist: all cylinders are dropped into the famous cube tower. The tower randomizes the output; some pieces get stuck, some fall through, and some from previous rounds might finally emerge.
During the collection phase, you select colors and take cylinders that have passed through the tower to enhance your future actions. It's an engine-building game where the actions you take now make subsequent actions more potent. You accumulate wealth, which can be traded for political influence, and chase bonuses that accelerate your progress. The player who best knows when to invest in upgrades and when to convert wealth into prestige will emerge victorious. With Stefan Feld's signature, expect a game with deep strategic layers, where every color choice and every cylinder recovered from the tower could be the difference between glory and oblivion.
