About the game

What you do in a play session

Welcome to New Las Vegas brings the classic "Welcome To..." experience to the neon lights of Sin City, but with an all‑new look and a few fresh twists. Each player gets two sheets: a large one that serves as the city map and a smaller one for tracking scores and objectives. The goal is to turn the desert into a paradise of casinos, hotels, golf courses, shows and VIP limousines, racking up as many points as possible.

The round starts with three decks of cards. Every card shows a casino number and a corresponding action – for instance, opening a casino, building a hotel, or moving a limousine. All players simultaneously pick one of the three available actions, using the number to fill the next slot on their street in numerical order. This simultaneous selection lets groups of up to 50 people play without the drag of turn‑taking.

Besides filling the street, you race to meet public goals that range from "first to open X casinos" to "first to complete a set of hotels". Each completed goal grants a scoring bonus. The game also features individual contracts that reward you for meeting specific conditions during the play.

The blend of Bingo‑style marking, pattern building (strategically arranging casinos and hotels), and paper‑and‑pencil mechanics creates a light, quick (about 35 minutes) and highly replayable experience. Because everything is randomly generated each round, no two games feel the same. A solo mode is also included, offering a scoring challenge for lone wolves. In the end, the player who builds the most vibrant city and scores the highest wins, becoming the most famous resort architect of Las Vegas.
