About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for an apocalyptic twist in Munchkin Zombies, where you're not the hunter, but the hunted... I mean, the zombie! Instead of running from the undead, here everyone is a brain-hungry zombie, and the 'monsters' are the desperate humans trying to stop you from spreading the plague. Forget traditional classes and races; instead, you choose a zombie 'mojo,' like the Atomic, Plague, or Voodoo Zombie, each with their own tricks. And like other Munchkins, you gain levels and use special powers to get ahead (or fall behind!).
Munchkin Zombies keeps the essence of the series: a satirical card game that pokes fun at RPG and pop culture clichés. The goal is simple: reach level 10 first. To do this, you'll 'kick down the door' each turn, facing creatures (humans, in this case!) with their own levels and abilities. Use your gear, your powers, and, of course, the help (or sabotage!) of your friends to win. Defeat an enemy and gain treasures and levels; fail and prepare for 'bad stuff,' which usually means losing everything you've earned. Featuring art by Alex Fernandez and the usual irreverent tone, this game is perfect for fans of the Munchkin series looking for an extra dose of zombie humor and chaotic combat.
