Nostra City drops you into 1990s New York, where the most powerful mafia family faces trial. Each player becomes a lieutenant of Don Johnny Gota, tasked with bribing jurors, running illegal enterprises—prostitution, gambling, drug trafficking—and gathering prestige to secure the Don's acquittal. Yet not everyone is loyal: some may be mafia turncoats or undercover FBI agents whose goal is to convict the Don and seize the family. The game unfolds through auction rounds, negotiations, and secret actions, with each player wielding asymmetric powers that shape their strategy. Cards represent resources, gang territories, designer suits and weapons, and are used both to climb the family hierarchy and to sabotage rivals by exposing vices or silencing mouths. The jury appears twice, and the final verdict determines whether everyone loses or a single player emerges victorious—as the most respected lieutenant or as the FBI rat who managed to convict the Don. Auction mechanics generate tension each round, while the team‑based element encourages temporary alliances. Nostra City blends negotiation, bluffing and resource management into a smooth 60‑minute experience. Perfect for fans of gangster cinema, interactive card games, and a dash of betrayal, without demanding heavy rules or marathon sessions.
