About the game
In Paleo, you and your friends lead a prehistoric clan, striving to survive and leave your mark on the world—like painting a giant mammoth on a cave wall! It's not just for art's sake, but also so future generations know you existed. But beware, the path there is fraught with danger. Each player starts with a few humans, each with unique skills and life points. Every turn, you choose a location to explore. You might find food, resources to craft useful tools, or even help another player with their project. However, watch out! A snakebite or an unexpected encounter could bring you close to death. Life in the Stone Age is a rollercoaster of wonders and terrors. At day's end, your tribe needs food for everyone and specific skills or items to complete missions. Fail to do so, and a skull is added to the tally. Accumulate too many skulls, and it's game over for the clan, and goodbye mammoth dream. The cool thing about Paleo is its modular design, allowing you to mix and match characters, locations, and quests, ensuring each game is a fresh adventure in 10,000 BCE. It's a cooperative experience that puts you in our ancestors' shoes, blending strategy with a touch of luck!
