About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to travel back to the roaring 20s in Birmingham, England, where gang rivalries are heating up! In Peaky Blinders: Under New Management, you step into the shoes of an aspiring gangster looking to make a name for yourself in the city. To do so, you'll need to boost your stats like charisma, strength, and intellect to outsmart rivals and complete dangerous missions. But crime doesn't pay when you go it alone, right? Build your network of friends and foes, invest heavily in shady businesses like rum, car parts, weapons, or even horse racing – who knows, maybe you'll strike it lucky! Prepare for head-to-head confrontations with your biggest competitors and fight to become the most feared gangster in all of Birmingham! This is a strategic and economic board game that blends luck and planning. Featuring worker placement mechanics (with different types of pawns!), dice rolling, and resource management, you'll need to be clever to invest, gamble, and position your pieces on the board at the right time. The goal is to control parts of England, and every decision counts. The game is designed for 2 to 4 players and, while not an overly heavy game in terms of rules, be prepared to spend over an hour unraveling the secrets of Birmingham. The high-quality production includes game boards, wooden tokens, cards, and miniatures that truly enhance the experience.
