About the game
Imagine that unicorns are adorable creatures, but completely obsessed with rainbows. Whenever one appears, they drop everything to race toward the pot of gold at the end of the path. The catch? Some rather questionable minds in the Magic Realm decided this was the perfect opportunity to make a fortune. In Unicorn Fever, you take the role of one of these wealthy and unscrupulous bettors, striving to dominate the Unicorn Racing Championship.

The dynamics are intriguing: the race itself is managed by an AI mechanism. Once the race starts, you don't perform any more actions — you simply watch, cheer, and shout as the unicorns sprint across the board. The real gameplay happens *before* the race. You get three actions to manipulate the outcome: you can place bets, hire shady characters to gain special abilities, or use magic cards to 'fix' the race and ensure your favorite wins.

But be careful! Action tokens are limited, so you'll need to read your opponents' intentions to secure the actions you need before they're gone. If you spend all your gold trying to rig the race, you might find yourself knocking on the door of the Elf-Mob for loans, and nobody wants to owe money to elven mobsters. You can bet on an outright victory for maximum Victory Points (VPs) or play it safe by betting on the podium. Keep in mind that unicorns with worse odds run slower, but if they actually win, the payout is much higher. After four races, the player who has accumulated the most glory and points is crowned the greatest bettor in the realm. It's a game of risk, bluffing, and chaotic fun!
