About the game
What you do in a play session
Pico 2 is a super fast and straightforward card duel, perfect for those who enjoy strategic competition in just a few minutes. With only 11 cards numbered 4 through 13, plus the 16 card, the game challenges you to think quickly and read your opponent like an open book. Each round begins with 5 cards in each player's hand and one face-up discarded card – you already get a hint of what the other is up to!
Here's the deal: both players secretly choose a card and reveal it simultaneously. The player who played the higher card wins the round, adding the "pips" (little dots) from the played card to their score. But watch out, there's a twist: if the higher card is more than double the lower card, the player who played the smaller card wins the round and its pips! This adds an interesting turn, where smaller cards can surprise. The game continues until one player is left with only one card in hand. Then comes the genius part: players swap hands and play again! This swap ensures the match is completely balanced, as both will have the chance to play with the same strong and weak cards. In the end, just tally the scores and declare the champion of this speedy clash. With a maximum of 14 card plays per game, Pico 2 finishes in the blink of an eye, ideal for warming up or wrapping up a game night.
